I have been a clinical member of Counseling for Growth & Change, LC, since 1996.  I have over 30 years of mental health experience and 23 years of post graduate degree experience in mental health.  I utilize some aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, exposure therapy, and systems theory during sessions for a solution oriented approach.  I have also been trained in play therapy with children, intra family sexual abuse treatment and adolescent sexual offender treatment.  I provide individual (ages 4.5 through adult, including older adults), family, group and couples counseling to address numerous issues including the following:

  • Best practices and time limited treatment for adolescent sexual offenders ages 12 to 18 years old utilizing weekly individual, family and offender group treatment, video and bibliotherapy
  • Effective assessment and treatment services of children with ADD and ADHD, depression and anxiety
  • Substance abuse prevention and treatment of codependency issues within relationships
  • Resolution of grief attributable to loss for adults related to a decline in physical and emotional health, death, divorce, and relational separation
